In a video captured by body cameras and released by San Antonio police, an individual is observed shooting at officers and firing at motorists along the East Side Highway before meeting a fatal outcome. The footage begins with officers engaging in a foot chase with the suspect, which followed a collision between their vehicle and the suspect’s. During this pursuit, one of the officers can be heard shouting, “Drop the fu**ing gun,” as he chased after the suspect.
After distancing himself from the officers, the man discharged multiple rounds, prompting the officers to respond with their own gunfire. As the officers continued their pursuit, the suspect descended an embankment and eventually reached the main lanes of the highway after traversing a grassy barrier.
While on the bustling highway, the suspect was observed attempting to forcibly take control of a vehicle in a bid to evade capture. The officers persisted in their pursuit and once more discharged their weapons at the suspect, hitting him. The video concludes at this juncture.
